Me in 10 Seconds #
Iām a second-year student in the Bachelor of Applied Health Information Science (Honours) degree program at Conestoga College.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for learning new things and trying to understand how things work. In a way, I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. I like to think I learn best by doing, but oftentimes I find myself down the rabbit hole researching topics for hours on end. This habit of mine has led me to have a wide range of skills.
My Future Career Goals #
I have always been enthusiastic about finding ways to use technology to my advantage; I enjoy spending time learning about useful python libraries, learning to use CLI tools, maintaining home servers, working with computer hardware, and developing basic IT skills.
I believe there is great potential for using technology to improve health information systems, and optimize workflows to enhance patient health outcomes.
My future career goal is to pursue a position as a healthcare systems analyst or in a related field, working closely with IT, business departments, and stakeholders to research, build, improve, and maintain health information systems.
